Ilan Cohen; photographic poetry from the bottom of the water

Very few mortals have the privilege of entering Xibalbá, a sacred site of the Mayans and that we mere mortals know as cenotes; Located in the Riviera Maya, these bodies of water are the ideal setting for the diver and photographer Ilan Cohen, who was fascinated, especially by their landscapes, which he brings to the surface for those who do not have access to them. This is how the artist of the lens defines the intention of Journey to the depth of light, a photographic exhibition in which he explores these bodies of water located in the Riviera Maya and exposes them accompanied by poems with which he reflects on humanity and these ancient bodies of water.

Depth of the light voyage: a series to appreciate the magic of the Mexican cenotes

“Depth of the Light voyage” by photographer, diver and Bindiva CEO Ilan Cohen; It is a virtual gallery that, in addition to being able to be seen online, can be purchased in print or through the NFT system.

The exhibition is made up of 60 underwater photographs of the cenotes of the Riviera Maya accompanied by 20 poems written by the author.

In a statement it is explained that the “objective is to express in words the endless emotions that each experience in the cenotes represents.”

geekzillos, Ilan Cohen, diver, photographer and CEO of Bindiva, is launching his new photographic series Journey to the Depth of Light. In this exhibition he explores the cenotes of the Riviera Maya with underwater photography. Best of all, we can all enjoy it!

In an event in the south of CDMX, the launch of the virtual exhibition and gallery was held, “Journey to the Depth of Light” by the photographer, diver and CEO of Bindiva, Ilan Cohen; which can be seen on the website. The exhibition is made up of 60 underwater photographs of the cenotes of the Riviera Maya accompanied by 20 poems of his authorship; whose objective is to express in words the endless emotions that each experience in the cenotes represents.
